SEPTEMBER' 2007 BRINGS US TO: -
Sun 9th Sept 2007 finds us back at The Jolly Farmer, Newton Abbot. It was a horribly wet and windy eve’ so this time we played inside. There were a few customers that braved the weather but generally mainly only the dedicated locals and some of Paul’s local mates. Thanks to everyone who made the effort to come out because it ended up to be a really buzzy night with just the few of us. Paul was on form with his witty comments and we had a right laugh. Cheers everyone!
Thu 13th Sept’ 2007 we were back at The Marine Tavern, Dawlish. I love this venue. It is cosy, with a fantastic atmosphere, with a really friendly landlord/landlady. Those that were there really listened and enjoyed the music. It’s one of those venues where people are quiet and respectful and appreciative for the music. It’s both great and scary, cause it’s then obvious when I mess up...never mind ehh, you just gotta laugh it off :) I do it on purpose really, just to show that no-ones perfect...ha ha ha yeah right! :) I do talk rubbish sometimes :)
Fri 28th Sept 2007 We were at Brazz, Taunton. Quite a smart venue. We played a long set. Chilled out music while people were noshing down their food, then more upbeat later, trying to get them dancing round with all that food inside them :) Cheers Dave for helping us unload the gear in the rain. :)
